Our garage door spring coil broke, and I was going down my Yelp list whoever answered first was going to get my business. After the first two didn’t answer, my third call was to Precision because I remembered seeing one of their commercials. Not only did someone pick up right away, but they also gave me an appointment immediately. I needed my car out of the garage ASAP, and they came the very next morning. Nicholas, the technician, did a full inspection and offered a list of recommended services and repairs. While I know he was just doing his job, I’m planning to tackle upgrades later — right now, I just needed that coil replaced so I could get my car out. He understood, did exactly what I asked, and promptly repaired and replaced the coil. He also provided clear quotes for the upgrades we discussed for the future. Nicholas was professional, helpful, and honest. I’ll definitely call them again when I’m ready for more work.

Good work but severely over priced. I needed my garage repaired in short order so went with them rather than getting more quotes (that was my bad!). Quoted me $1800 for 2 spring replacements and new rollers. Finished the job in 45 minutes. When I questioned the price for 45 minutes of work, he gave me $200 off. Parts are not that much!!! Having done my research after the fact, it should have been half that price! Technician was a nice guy, but their pricing is a major red flag! I won’t be referring or using them again.

Precision Garage Doors was amazing from start to finish! The estimator, Mike, was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with several options—an overwhelming task made simple! Tina, the project manager, oversaw our entire project and made sure we were up to date and taken care of—excellent customer service! Our installer, Solomon, was most proficient and took his time to explain all of the working details of our new garage door. I would highly recommend Precision to anyone looking to improve the value of their home or simply replace that old dated garage door that needs special attention ,,!

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Precision Garage Door Service. I received a same day appointment and was contacted by a technician, Nathaniel, within an hour, letting me know he would arrive in 20 mins. He arrived on time and was very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and let me know what needed to be done to fix it and how much it would cost. He also let me know the condition of my system and potential problems that may occur in the future. Once I approved the job he completed it neatly and efficiently. Excellent service, I would highly recommended them.

I have no idea how they're reviews are so high. The service person who came out was very polite, but I was quoted one price and then ultimately charged more than twice as much (the service person kept coming back to tell me about new things that needed fixing that he could have clearly seen when first assessing my system to give me an estimate; these were not new discoveries).

Carlos L. showed up and had what I thought was going to be a difficult repair completed in about 60 minutes! I was resigned to having to wait for parts and trying to arrange to get my car out but he was able to assess, repair and complete the work on site with everything he needed in his service truck! Great work Carlos and THANK YOU!! I opted to do two new springs and cables and was presented with four quotes with each explained to me. Door works as good as new!

Had my garage door rollers and main spring replaced yesterday by service tech Jesus. I can't say enough about this young man and his work ethics. He was a Professional in every way sense of the word. Precision Garage Door (PGD) did a fantastic job! I was just ready to leave for the weekend, car packed, keys in hand…then the garage door wouldn’t open. Yikes! Broken spring! Because I’d seen many of PGD’s TV ads, I went to their website and made the earliest appointment online-very easy to do. I called the PGD office to see if I couldn’t get a technician earlier and Travis, the technician, arrived about an hour earlier than scheduled! He proceeded to make the needed repairs and I was on my way in two hours. Door is way better than it was and very happy with the whole experience.

So disappointing! When the belt broke on my 2004 Chamberlain/LiftMaster garage door opener I called Precision Garage Door Company after seeing their ads on TV. I was pleased that they were able to get a technician out the same day, and after explaining what had happened to my garage door, I was assured that the technician would have all the parts needed for the repair on his truck. The technician arrived and immediately began telling me that he was going to get me a quote on a new opener (motor/drive unit and track). I told him that the motor had been operating just fine and I merely wanted him to replace the belt. That’s where things got fishy and “scammish.” The technician told me that the company is not allowed to repair our opener because of a law passed in 2019. He proceeded to tell me that since our opener did not have a battery backup that they are forbidden by law to do repairs and can only replace the entire unit. I let him know that when I called in to make an appointment, that I clearly stated that my belt had broken and was assured that whoever arrived would be able to repair or replace the belt. He said he'd call his supervisor and see what he could do. A few minutes later, he came back, re-stated the 2019 law forbidding him from repairing our opener and that they didn’t even carry those belts on their trucks. While he was on the phone, I looked up the law he was quoting. In fact there was a law passed in 2019 (SB969). This law clearly states that “All new or replacement garage door openers installed after July 1, 2019 must include a battery backup.” There is no requirement stating that one must have a remote control in place to replace a belt, install a belt, or repair an opener. I read this to the technician and he re-stated that they didn’t even carry those belts on their trucks and stated that he would not be able to help and left. I ordered a belt from Amazon for $52 and replaced it in minutes. It’s obvious to me that Precision’s business model includes hoping to scare homeowners and upsell them into buying unneeded garage door openers! I’m thinking their jingle, “Precision Door Service a name you can trust” should be revised! Shame on you Precision!
