Terrible experience. My garage door came off the track and became crooked, not allowing it to close all of the way. Technician initially said $200 should get it fixed. As the day went on he kept coming to me and raising the price and tell me I must do more once he already had it ripped apart with a final total of $947. He finally said “is this good enough”? And proceeded to run the door informs of me with it running rough and catching on bent points of the track that he worked on. He would sigh like I was asking him a favor to get my door to operate properly after giving him almost a grand. Finally after it was somewhat improved I just said whatever, as long as it works. 2 days later it came off the tracks again and he had to come back out to “fix” it again. Months later it comes off of the track again so I call the company and ask what they’ll do for me. The lady says we’ll send someone out but you have to pay the consultation fee because they don’t warranty their work. I’d give them a zero if I could because they’re rude, deliver a bad product, and don’t take pride in their work.

Nick, our installer, was absolutely amazing — professional, friendly, and efficient. He explained everything clearly and did excellent work. However, I have to be honest: the pricing was extremely high, even with discounts applied. Everyone I have talked to said you paid what?? We were charged over $1,300 for parts and labor on a single-car garage, with individual components like cables, rollers, and drums costing hundreds each. While the service includes a 3-year parts warranty, the prices felt far above market average. Great technician, but expect to pay top dollar.

I was having issues with my garage door not staying closed in the cold weather and I called Precision to come out. It turns out, the wheels just needed to be greased, but I had him replace the wheels since he was here and it wasn’t too expensive. He was fast and very easy to work with.

One of my garage doors cables came off the roller. I called Precision and they were able to send out a technician the same day! Antonio Mendoza was prompt and gave me a 30 minute heads up prior to arriving. He was very kind and respectful, he patiently evaluated the system, and performed very clean work. He went above and beyond, checking the entire system, as opposed to just focusing on the problem. He took his time, fixed the problem, and double checked his work. He even took the time to apply grease and spray onto my other garage door that did not have any problems to ensure it continued to function well. Brandon and Gabriel provided outstanding service from the initial consultation to installation to a follow up visit to address very minor issues with garage door. We live in San Francisco and needed a custom garage door for a small, old Victorian home. We were willing to go with a custom wood door, but were encouraged to go with an insulated steel door for safety and maintenance reasons, even though the recommended steel door was half the cost. The honesty, integrity, and professionalism of both gentlemen was very much appreciated. Terrific experience all around.
