Travis carefully gave me every scenario of what my garage door needed and I let him do what was needed and I didn’t have a problem with the cost because he said it will last a long time now, even though it’s guaranteed for a year. He said it’ll probably go 20 years. I just needed to pick a good company because couldn’t have fixed this door anyway, and the reviews were very good plus I did recognize one employee I knew when he was a younger man. And if Travis has trained several employees then that makes a great company. Thank you again Travis and precision garage door you have a great employee. Now I have the required two springs instead of one. And new cables bottom wheels, and some new bearings. hooray the door works so good now.

I was in a pinch cause my door was off track. I called the first number I saw on Google and this company popped up. They immediately dispatched someone to our home. Ahmed Elmenawy Arrived and looked everything over and was patient and honest. I was taken back by his genuine demeanor kindness and honesty. You don’t get that nowadays. He gave us 3 options and explained everything in complete transparency. We could only afford for him to get the door rolled down. Of course, it was an emergency, with both cars trapped when the spring broke (again). Precision was able to schedule a visit in a few hours and Ahmed was on site as planned. He did a complete check of the door, provided detailed explanation of the situation and offered tiered options. He had all the parts on hand, and was able to get us back on line. When you call the professionals, you expect them to do a professional job. Not the case here STAY AWAY!!! CON ARTISTS!! Boris just left after giving me a quote for $2000. He did a fast inspection and said I needed new springs, rollers, bearing, torsion rod (the works). I followed him while he was investigating and I noticed (it’s pictured on my Yelp reviews) that one of the bolts that mounts the motor to the ceiling was completely loose. Notice the shiny metal it must have backed off after years of vibration. I didn’t mention this because I didn’t want to be charged to tighten a bolt. After he left, I tightened 1 bolt and my garage door works perfectly fine. Exactly how it should. The excessive wobble from the loose motor mount that forces it to stop anymore was now gone. The fact that a company like this won’t even do a full inspection and will send these quotes out to senior citizens, single parents and people who may not know any better is criminal. I’m happy I have a somewhat mechanical background and know how to do something as simple as turn a wrench. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DISHONEST AND ZERO PRIDE IN THEIR CRAFT!

When I booked an appointment to have our garage door looked at, I was told the service call would be $35, as it was half off their ordinary $70 charge. At the inspection, the man gave me a quote of $2300 something to fix the door. I told him I'd think about it and talk it over with my wife. He then charged me $70. I asked about the 1/2 off special, and he said that only applies if we have them do the repairs. I called the office to ask why I wasn't told this stipulation, and got nothing much of an explanation. I called another company, and they gave me a price of $625 to fix the door, and didn't charge anything as an "inspection fee." I'd advise anyone to get multiple quotes, to compare companies.

Important note is the pricing for parts. The technician was going to re-install a cable that jumped loose. I wanted to purchase 2 new cables. The price was over $500. The cost to re-install the exiting cable was $140. The amount of work he performed to install the cable was no more than if they were 2 new cables. I would have paid the additional $60 for two new cables ( 5X home depot price). I would also included two spools for at least 4X home depot price. The final cost would have been $250. Instead you sold no parts, and that lost my recommendation and 5 stars.

Brandon Taylor was not only early for the appointment, but was very professional and helpful also in programming a remote for my Liftmaster garage door. He not only gave me a 50% discount on the service charge, but also showed me step by step how to program the remote so I could do so if need to in the future. He also checked my garage door and advised me on how to maintain it with a garage door oil spray. He was very friendly and professional. A delight to interact with.

This company gets zero stars. I called because one of the springs broke. They wasted my time and $69.95 for a worthless service call. The technician said I needed "special" springs and that they were $500 each. He also said he needed to replace the bearings and the rollers for the cables. All told, he quoted me $1500, and he said it would take four days just to get the parts. I then called Sacramento Overhead Door, they were great. They arrived Monday morning, and had the springs I needed. They replaced BOTH springs for $466.

He even offers for me to check my home warranty to confirm if the springs and rollers were covered; and they were not. I would recommend precision door services to my friends and family.
