Recently had a spring break on the Garage door, so thanks to the heavy amount of commercials I've seen for Precision I thought id give them a call! Super Fast service! They dispatched a Tech about 10 min after the phone call. received a text with with a Service window of 2 hours, and they arrived about 40 min. after initial phone call. The service tech was very friendly, professional, and informative. BUT shortly after he looked over the garage, the upsell started.... I was looking to just get the Spring replaced, but he pointed out some things based on the age of my door (25 years) that needed replacing. He also started asking me if I was interested in a New opener or door, which I said to go ahead and give me a quote... but I'm not interested at this time, then came the quotes. He gave me 4 options to choose from, 2 of which were options for just the current repair but different levels of repair, 1 quote to repair + a new opener, and 1 quote for a all new door and opener. ALL options were quite costly and just the repair, the bottom option it self was 2/3 MORE than the last spring I had replaced! Given he did upgrade a few things, and was able to find a discount for me...BUT was still way more than I planned on spending for a spring replacement. All in All, it damaged my wallet a little...but it was the best customer service I've had in a while. he wasn't pushy at all, explained why the upgrades were important, and still worked with me on price. All I can say is if you go with precision dont plan on a cheap fix. there business is about the quality of repair and customer service....NOT Wham-Bam cheap fixes.

Technician came out and of course everything was wrong and needed to be replaced on a 6+- old door. Then proceed to adjust and fix/ reset in less than an hour. At $535.00 Starting cost then (2) $99.00 additional adds for nothing. Absolutely no materials needed.. I feel it was over priced but here we are in San Jose! Probably use a independent contractor if needed again.

The battery for my garage opener was beeping. Bashir made an inspection and noticed the cable was also frayed. Changed that and also the spring. Did an excellent job.

After evaluating multiple quotes, I opted to have a new door and motor installed. The installation technician maintained the same level of professionalism, and the installation process was well-organized and executed efficiently within three hours. I think the job they did was fine. Super easy to schedule online and they were able to come out next day. Tech was professional and did a decent job. We just needed a couple of track adjustments. They installed a new bracket and rollers on the door and spent less than an hour doing the whole job. However, the price was outrageous for the small amount of work being performed.

This is the second time we have used Precision Door. This time we needed the opener reinforced bracket kit. Our door and opener are over 26 years old, so I was not sure about replacement parts. The work was done quickly, but it was a very big market in cost and service. The exact same part at Home Depot was $31.98. The service time was approximately 20 mins start to finish, and the total cost was 7 times as much. They have great service, but you are also paying a premium price for that service.

The screws of the hinge securing the garage door to the upper railing had come off, not allowing proper functioning of the door. I had dealt with a previous company on 2 other occasions who must have missed that there was only 1 screw where there should have been 4 screws. Andrey Brodskiy was very prompt in coming and replacing the screws. My only complaint was $120 for adding 3 screws and was expecting it to cost around $70 which would have been steep but reasonable. He was professional and offered a prompt service.

I chose precision because I saw the ad. I knew that they have all equipment available when they come to do estimates. Most other vendors don't have parts available and I did not want to wait to get my garage door fixed. However I found them to be a little pricey. But the technician was fast, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall the work was done well and in a timely manner.
