Patrick Leahy was an excellent technician. He was able to listen to my system and figure out what services needed to be done. I needed new remotes for my garage door opener, so he tried four different universal remotes. None of them worked, so he found the link on Amazon so I could order the exact remotes for my garage door opener and program them. He performed maintenance work that I would have never thought of. He explained how "what I thought were just how it sounds" were grinding noises that could be remedied by lubricating the hinges and replacing the rollers. He also explained why the hinges needed to be lubricated to extend the life of the motor. Great technician!

I chose precision because I saw the ad. I knew that they have all equipment available when they come to do estimates. Most other vendors don't have parts available and I did not want to wait to get my garage door fixed. However I found them to be a little pricey. But the technician was fast, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall the work was done well and in a timely manner.

Just want to comment that Andrey did an excellent job fixing my garage door that had a broken spring. He replaced it with two springs since it is a doublewide door and replaced a number of rollers plus lubricating things. So he needs to receive 5 star rating on the great job he did. Jerry Hudson

The whole experience with Precision Garage Door was excellent. I called Precision this morning because they were recommended by a friend. When I called, the phone was answered promptly and, in a few minutes, the person who took my call was able to schedule someone to my home at a time block of my choosing. Also, she was very clear about the initial cost so there would be no surprises. The Technician, Nathaniel Lapidez, arrived on time, inspected and tested the door and clearly explained what the problem was and what I need to have done in order to end up with a working garage door. Nathaniel did the installation, programmed all the remotes and answered all my questions.

Travis carefully gave me every scenario of what my garage door needed and I let him do what was needed and I didn’t have a problem with the cost because he said it will last a long time now, even though it’s guaranteed for a year. He said it’ll probably go 20 years. I just needed to pick a good company because couldn’t have fixed this door anyway, and the reviews were very good plus I did recognize one employee I knew when he was a younger man. Now I have the required two springs instead of one. And new cables bottom wheels, and some new bearings. hooray the door works so good now.

Brandon Taylor did not charge us for a service call because of his recognition that we were insufficient with due diligence prior to allowing work to proceed by individuals who subjected us to exorbitant fees for their equipment and work. Brandon was explicit in assuring us that our new opener system is functioning properly but recommended that we report the installers’ unacceptably high fees to the Better Business Bureau and the California State Licensing Board. Even if we have no other recourse for the financial impact that we sustained, others need to be reminded that unethical installers are practicing their craft and need to be avoided.
