We were very pleased with the service from Precision Garage Door. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and professional, our technician, Nicholas Schwinger, arrived promptly, was very friendly and pleasant, and did a good and careful job figuring out our problem. It appeared our garage door motor was dead, so we arranged to purchase a new one for $1,500, and Nick set about installing it. But partway through the job, he realized the motor actually still worked, and the problem was actually with the switch. So he put away all the new motor paraphernalia and instead fixed our switch for $124! It would have been easy for Nick to simply continue installing the new motor, and we are grateful for (and impressed by) his integrity in letting us know our problem was much smaller and cheaper to fix. We definitely will call him back when the motor actually DOES fail!

I was expecting only that someone would fix the part that was keeping me from lowering the door. I had no idea that he would come equipped to do a full overhaul on a Saturday evening. Nathaniel replaced all the moving parts and made everything work like new. We are thrilled! Nathaniel did a wonderful job of explaining what he was going to do and why. It was also a pleasure to have him around.

Our garage door broke yesterday (Sat.) evening, I called Precision's call center and was able to get an appointment for today. Brandon came to the house at the scheduled time to determine the cause of the garage door failure and gave an estimate of what was needed to fix the door. Brandon answered all my questions, explained in detail the parts that needed to be replaced. He was friendly, very professional, and provided excellent service.

We had contacted another repair company who failed to follow-up or even show up. Precision Garage Door Sacramento Valley was responsive and on time. Nicholas Schwinger provided excellent customer service; was very friendly and knowledgeable; found additional defects in our system and addressed them accordingly. Even adjusted our garage door opener and provided suggestions on how to extend the life of the garage door on our own.

Brandon Taylor was assigned to our maintenance request and even called ahead to request permission to arrive a bit early; to which we readily agreed. After examining our 20 y.o. opener (which was not up to code, btw), we both agreed a new opener was probably in order. He explained the alternative opener choices, including pros & cons of each and the pricing options (including a veteran's discount). Installing the new opener, Brandon worked quickly and efficiently. He was, at all times, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We live in a senior community with over 900 homes. If someone asks me if I know a good garage door repair company, Precision will be my First and Only recommendation.

I had a wonderful experience beginning with the representative answering the phone, listening and understanding my request and explaining the process for either repairing the garage door and/or replacing the door. Travis was the representative who assisted in repairing my garage door. He was extremely thorough, answered all of my questions, gave me scenarios for a Plan A or Plan B or C. He was very patient and took time to walk me through the process for the repairs. He was wonderful!!!! Give this man a promotion! The garage door repairs look and are working fantastically! From the phone call, to Andrey leaving my driveway, the process has been very professional and comfortable. Thanks to Heidi getting us on the schedule quickly to allow us to get our car out of the garage, and we were totally impressed with Andrey's skill and personality in getting the door repaired. Our door is over 45 years old with no previous maintenance except lubrication and seals, and we very much accepted his recommendation to replace all the springs, bearings and rollers. it now works very well, and my only complaint is that I now need to buy a barbell as I have lost my morning weight lifting routine. I see Precision's ad on morning TV and, when I needed them, I was able to contact them and speak to someone immediately. An appointment was set up and I was told who my service would be. I immediately was sent an e-mail confirmation with photos of all their techs, just in case the one assigned to me had to be changed. The service tech, Andre, called and was able to get to me sooner than arranged which was great. My problem was fixed and I am very happy with Precision Door Service. Thank you!

The company commercials made me happy. I liked what they said about safety and commitment to have my service needs met! The first person I met was phone customer service. They worked with me above and beyond. They fit me in when I was sure they would not be able to. The gentleman that arrived was clean, neat, precise and on point. He covered the requirements with ease! He explained to me the situation without making me feel less then. He was able to find and fix the problem within a few minutes time. Better then I could ever do safely on my own. He was able to share with me other things I could do with my garage door that could help in the future. I will be making another appointment to address those issues. Then to make things even better... the company reached out after to make sure I was happy with the services provided!! Hence the raving review! THANK YOU all!

Travis did a great job diagnosing our garage door opener problems and installing a new one. He kept us informed and actually showed us the problem before incurring additional expense. Our previous garage door opener was over 17 years old so we knew more than likely it would need to be replaced. I wanted to write a Google review but it wasn’t an option.
