I just had my garage door remote control replaced by. Precision Garage Door Service. It took the technician less than 5 minutes to replace by just mounting one screw and two wires. Remote control unit cost is about $60 but I paid four times of the cost to replace. So highly recommend to get few more quotes from different companies. I admit I made a mistake by trusting this company’s pricing to be competitive.

The technician was efficient and gave us multiple options. He was able to quickly fix our garage door with minimal cost. He also gave honest feedback that this is a patch fix and will need replacement in a few years but wasn't pushy for replacement at all. The technician was Jesus Silva. Friendly, personable guy who kept me informed. He installed a new opener and did a major overhaul on the door with new springs and rollers and other stuff. Beforehand, the door made all sorts of straining and popping noises. After the work was performed, all I could hear was the soft, electronic sound from the opener. The door opened perfectly even and balanced. I don’t think I’ll have a problem again for years to come.

Reasonable price for excellent service. Very professional top quality tech and service. I spent more than needed to get the door operational again. You could probably save some money by going with an independent but I doubt you will get the same level of service. The truck has all the parts needed,no reason to go get parts and come back. They were at my house within two hours, which I was shocked at. I had expected to wait for several days. I got home from work Friday night, closed the garage and went inside only to hear a loud BANG! behind me. I knew it was the spring right away. It was late, and I couldn't get anyone on the phone, so I called Precision Saturday afternoon. They had someone come the same day for an inspection and estimate. Bachir called, texted and emailed me exactly 30 minutes before he arrived, just like I'd been told. He took a look at the problem, explained the 3 options to me, the pros and cons of each, and the costs associated with them. I chose to replace more than the springs due to the age of my equipment and I didn't want to deal with this again in the near future, plus Bachir told me I definitely got more out of the springs than I probably should have. He was kind and courteous, very friendly and extremely forthcoming about everything he was doing, which I appreciated. He had the job done and cleaned up in under three hours, which was unexpected late on a Saturday night. This is my first experience with Precision Doors, and I would not hesitate to use them again. I hope I get Bachir again, as he came across as very genuine and not someone who wanted to get the job over with, or trying to upsell me on things I didn't need.
