The garage door spring broke at 6:00 p.m. Monday evening. I called Precision Garage Door at 8:00 a.m.Tuesday morning. The repair technician, John Glasky, arrived at 9:00 a.m. John evaluated my garage door. I followed his recommendation to replace the springs, cables and roller wheels. John completed the repair by 9:45 a.m. The door now operates more smoothly and much quieter. Thanks John!

We got a same day appointment. Manny came by installed a new opener same day. He was very professional and explained all aspects in detail. We may have gotten it for a little cheaper but this was simpler and came with warranty.

Manny was the technician who worked on my garage door. If there was a sixth star Manny would get all six. Manny’s professionalism and customer service was A+ and I really appreciate that level of care. I could see, in his demeanor, Manny actually cared. In addition, Manny was quick to diagnose the problem which made it nice to know he knew what he was talking about. I also appreciate that Manny didn’t try and upsell or scam me into “extra” work that didn’t really need to be done. Thank you Manny for your help and timeliness.

Tried to tell me my 2 new garage doors needed new rollers For a cost of about $1000 When I paused about the price he said he would give me 25% off And a 3 year warranty You can buy the best rollers there are for about $75 They try to sell you things you don’t need at an outrageous price! Having the company that sold me the doors to come out and adjust Do not use Percision Garage door under any circumstance!!!

I called Precision Garage Door after the cable snapped on one of my brand-new garage doors. The technician told me my contractor had used “cheap parts” and pressured me into replacing both cables, adding new heavy-duty springs, and upgrading the second door as well—warning the doors might fail otherwise. Feeling uneasy but wanting it fixed, I agreed. The bill came to $1,929.70. Later, the manager at Overhead Door Company (who sold me the doors) told me I’d been misled—my doors already had the proper parts. I contacted Precision’s manager, explained what happened, and thankfully received a $1,304.80 refund. Even then, I was billed $345 per cable—parts that cost about $25 each at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Unfortunately, the same door later came off the track. A different Precision tech again tried to upsell me, this time claiming both doors needed new “heavy-duty rollers” for over $1,000. Overhead Door confirmed that was false and is now inspecting the issue themselves. Once again, the rollers are about $3.00 each at Home Depot or Lowe's This company uses fear, deception, and outrageously inflated parts prices to upsell unnecessary work. I’ll never use them again—and I strongly warn others to stay far away.

Last Wednesday night one of our torsion springs for garage door broke. I call Thursday morning at 8:52 and Technician Carlos Yow called at 9:15 to say that he was inbound in 20 minutes - he was already enroute to a job in Walnut Creek. Carlos arrived on time, replaced both torsion springs and a endplate with bearing. He was very efficient, thorough in his checks (including weighing our door), lubrication and replaced all nuts/bolts that he had disassembled. Complete in about an hour! Actually used Precision Garage Door of East Bay.

He gave me several repair options, clearly explained the pros and cons of each, and never tried to push me into anything I didn’t need. That kind of honesty really stood out. What impressed me most was how he focused on helping rather than selling. It made me trust him and the company a lot more. If I ever have another issue, I’ll definitely be asking for Brandon again. Our garage malfunctioned on Sunday evening and could not get it opened. My husband had to go to work on Monday…we called the company that had come out the last time, but go the voice mail and then a text that would not be able to send someone until Monday at 8:00 AM…my needed to be on the road by 6:30. We called Precision and they were able to send someone out within a couple of hours…the technician was very professional and was able to fix the problem.

The repairman, Nick, showed up right on the time he called beforehand to let me know when he would arrive. He was very pleasant and immediately began to check out the garage door problem I was experiencing. He then explained the problem and parts that would be necessary to fix it. He also suggested I might consider adding a part that would make the door much smoother to open or close. He also had the cost available for the repair work necessary, as well as the extra part. I appreciated all of it and decided to have him do it all.

I ordered service for garage door repair with the Precision appointment app, at 6 AM. WOW how easy. The repair man was here at 8am. They let me know by email that my request was received. A short time later an email saying driver was on the way. Then a call from the driver letting me know he would be here in 15min. This was a good start to a good Precision experience with my garage door repairs. This is how it should work. Thank you Precision Garage Door.

Recently had a spring break on the Garage door, so thanks to the heavy amount of commercials I've seen for Precision I thought id give them a call! Super Fast service! They dispatched a Tech about 10 min after the phone call. received a text with with a Service window of 2 hours, and they arrived about 40 min. after initial phone call. The service tech was very friendly, professional, and informative. BUT shortly after he looked over the garage, the upsell started.... I was looking to just get the Spring replaced, but he pointed out some things based on the age of my door (25 years) that needed replacing. He also started asking me if I was interested in a New opener or door, which I said to go ahead and give me a quote... but I'm not interested at this time, then came the quotes. He gave me 4 options to choose from, 2 of which were options for just the current repair but different levels of repair, 1 quote to repair + a new opener, and 1 quote for a all new door and opener. ALL options were quite costly and just the repair, the bottom option it self was 2/3 MORE than the last spring I had replaced! Given he did upgrade a few things, and was able to find a discount for me...BUT was still way more than I planned on spending for a spring replacement. All in All, it damaged my wallet a little...but it was the best customer service I've had in a while. he wasn't pushy at all, explained why the upgrades were important, and still worked with me on price. All I can say is if you go with precision dont plan on a cheap fix. there business is about the quality of repair and customer service....NOT Wham-Bam cheap fixes.

Precision installed a keypad and it kept defaulting. Well Branden came out and gave me the reason why I was having an issue. When it was all said and done I had an entire new opener and tiller installed! Thank you Brandon for giving me the information to make a great decision to upgrade my opener!!
