When you call the professionals, you expect them to do a professional job. Not the case here STAY AWAY!!! CON ARTISTS!! Boris just left after giving me a quote for $2000. He did a fast inspection and said I needed new springs, rollers, bearing, torsion rod (the works). I followed him while he was investigating and I noticed (it’s pictured on my Yelp reviews) that one of the bolts that mounts the motor to the ceiling was completely loose. Notice the shiny metal it must have backed off after years of vibration. I didn’t mention this because I didn’t want to be charged to tighten a bolt. After he left, I tightened 1 bolt and my garage door works perfectly fine. Exactly how it should. The excessive wobble from the loose motor mount that forces it to stop anymore was now gone. The fact that a company like this won’t even do a full inspection and will send these quotes out to senior citizens, single parents and people who may not know any better is criminal. I’m happy I have a somewhat mechanical background and know how to do something as simple as turn a wrench. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DISHONEST AND ZERO PRIDE IN THEIR CRAFT!

When I booked an appointment to have our garage door looked at, I was told the service call would be $35, as it was half off their ordinary $70 charge. At the inspection, the man gave me a quote of $2300 something to fix the door. I told him I'd think about it and talk it over with my wife. He then charged me $70. I asked about the 1/2 off special, and he said that only applies if we have them do the repairs. I called the office to ask why I wasn't told this stipulation, and got nothing much of an explanation. I called another company, and they gave me a price of $625 to fix the door, and didn't charge anything as an "inspection fee." I'd advise anyone to get multiple quotes, to compare companies.

Hi Mr. Melear, We apologize for your terrible experience. How our Service Fee work should have been clear to you from the time you spoke with someone in our call center to the technician. That is not ok, and we apologize. We like to have happy customers, as a courtesy we will rebate back the $69.95 to your Visa # ending with 6970. Just to clarify...for us to just come out it's $69.95 every time. If you decided on our service, we discount by 50% to $34.95 + whatever the cost for parts & labor will be. If the customer chooses to not move forward with our quotes, then we charge the full $69.95. We are happy you were able to get your door repaired at a cost you felt comfortable with. We are not the most expensive company out there, and we are not the cheapest (we do not want to be), but we do try and be very professional. Your decision to do research after we provided a quote is ideal for all customers, that way they feel best moving forward with their decision. We do not put pressure on our customers. Hope that clarifies a bit. You will be seeing the $69.95 rebate in about 7-10 days on your card. Thank you for allowing us this courtesy. Freddy Cespedes General Manager
Freddy, Thanks for your response and for your actions to correct this. I called before posting a review, with hopes it would be taken care of wells without having to post.

I had Boris that called me early morning at about 7.15 saying that he will be at my residence at 8am. The timing was great but his service was not was I expected. He did his fast inspection and told me that he didn't know what to do with the repair and try and gave me a quote for the whole system. His reason/ diagnosis was that my garage door is too heavy and his new motor cannot lift my garage door. Now I have to check with other companies. Not a good experience.

This company gets zero stars. I called because one of the springs broke. They wasted my time and $69.95 for a worthless service call. The technician said I needed "special" springs and that they were $500 each. He also said he needed to replace the bearings and the rollers for the cables. All told, he quoted me $1500, and he said it would take four days just to get the parts. I then called Sacramento Overhead Door, they were great. They arrived Monday morning, and had the springs I needed. They replaced BOTH springs for $466.

The technician was more interested in selling me a brand new garage door for $4000.00, than fixing my complain on the garage door opener, needs a new battery. Will Never use this company again.

It cost more for my door to get fix, than what it cost me to have the door install. Will not use it them this company any more.

This company is ridiculously overpriced. My husband is a contractor and immediately knew 1800+ to replace a spring was a rip-off. We can get a whole new door for that. The technician was nice but what a waste of $70 for a service call to find out these guys are scammers

***ZERO STARS***** Do NOT use this company. RUN AWAY! They are liars, cheaters, and thieves. They tried to take advantage of me. They tried charging me $1100 for parts that weren’t broken! These people make me sick. So disappointed and NOT OK! I got my garage door fixed for $275! I warn you. Do NOT use this company.

I was quoted $35 for a first time visit on our garage door. When the technician visit he said since we are not moving forward with the service then the visit would be $69. This should be clear over the phone before a visit. He also quoted for a repair $1,800 when every other garage company is charging $500 and under. It was a waste of time and effort. My feedback is that maybe ask for photos over text or email to get a more accurate estimate before a visit and to communicate that with the client.
