I had the most amazing experience with my garage doors. According to an inspection report, my garage doors were not balanced and would not auto reverse when something was in the way. The first company that came out was Precision Garage Doors. First of all, they do not work on our type of doors and springs which are Wayne Dalton doors. They first told me how cheap and horrible my garage door springs were... the cheapest a builder can install. Then they said I should have the springs replaced with another type of spring which they were willing to do for $5,800 for one double door and one single door. They also wished me good luck in finding a garage door company that would even work on a Wayne Dalton door or spring systems. I went on the Internet, put in Wayne Dalton garage doors and click, click, click, found a company that would work on my doors. Sac-Town Overhead Doors came out, oiled and adjusted my doors and springs for $150. They work perfectly now. When I told him what I had been told by the other company, he said if I had needed new springs, he would have replaced mine for $1,000 to $1,100.

Mitch was servicing a neighbor’s garage door when I walked over to ask him about mine. My remote controls were not usually working, and I wanted to get them fixed. When he finished his first job, he came right over and inspected my door. It turned out that my garage door was in need of more than a change of battery. The wheels were partially off their tracks and the springs had weakened. Mitch was able to fix everything that afternoon by installing a stronger motor, springs, and wheels as well as a new outside remote. Everything now works, and it’s much quieter.
